With "random" mode you can totally get twice the same song (although it's unlikely in a large playlist). With "randomize" it's still possible: Liquidsoap will shuffle your list, play it all (so, no repetition) then re-shuffle and play the new order. If you're very unlucky the last song in the first shuffle is the first one in the second shuffle. I don't think it should be a big deal.
