Hi Tom,

It's a good time to raise that issue: we're going to release the
beta2, and we should update the doc where needed.

The image input is done by SDLimage. (There used to be something else
but it's probably been replaced totally.) So, my guess is that you
have liquidsoap compiled without SDL support. Another thing to try is
convert to another image format.

To find out what's going on, remember that you have --list-plugins
(very verbose, grep -i sdl through it) and "liquidsoap -r <image
file>"  to see if liquidsoap recognizes the file.

You'd do me a favor to let me know how it goes, so I can fix the doc
quickly (I'm currently busy with other matters).
