Hi guys,

Samuel, thanks for restoring the camlimages decoder. It is no more in
conflict with SDL, so it's a good thing to do, it's only a little
unfortunate to introduce it just before the release. It shouldn't be
too dangerous, since this decoder is only tried after the SDLimages
one.

Now, I have tried to use it. For that you need to disable DSL (I
didn't find a command line switch, so I edited my Makefile.defs) and
recompile. Then the decoder gets a change to take care of images, but
it fails with all files I tried:

2011/06/26 23:11:58 [decoder:4] Decoder "CAMLIMAGES" failed on
"/home/dbaelde/media/images/bg/listen.jpg": OImages.Wrong_image_class!

Did I miss something? What worked for you?

Cheers,

David

PS: If more hacking is needed on the decoder, it should be done in a
new branch, perhaps associated to a ticket.
