Sorry but without more info, I can't tell you, it could be a number of things. I wouldn't call this global, but this sounds like what I had in mind. It's a simple generalization of mean, such that instead of performing stereo to mono all the time, or mono to mono all the time, of 5 channels to mono all the time, it allows a changing number of channels as its inputs, just like audio_to_stereo. The use of audio_to_stereo to make everything stereo, combined with mean just before the mono outputs, is what you should try right now. In a nutshell, you have to change output.icecast(%mp3(samplerate=44100,bitrate=64,stereo=false),...) into output.icecast(%mp3(samplerate=44100,bitrate=64,stereo=false),mean(...)) and each playlist(...) to audio_to_stereo(playlist(...))
