The best way would be, I believe, to fill a bug against the liquidsoap
package requesting an update to the latest version. Reporting bugs is

Also, you may want to contact directly the Debian Ocaml Maintainers at this
address: [email protected]
Finally, you may want to be involved in the packaging itself. There is a
lot of documentation online about it but a good starting point would be
here: https://wiki.debian.org/Packaging Updating the liquidsoap packages
should be quite straight forward hopefully, updating each module and the
main liquidsoap package to their latest version should be the most of it..
