Hi,

You will need to have the fdk-aac encoder enabled. In Debian Jessie on amd64 you should be able to install the libfdkaac-ocaml-dynlink package. With other Debian, if you wish to stick to packaged liquidsoap, you can try to install ocaml-fdkaac manually.

Finally, I would recommend switching to our opam-supported installation method: http://liquidsoap.fm/download.html This should be fairly easy and will provide an upgrade path for future liquidsoap versions. opam package for fdk-aac is named fdkaac.

Hope this helps,
Romain

    that would be normal aac Per, we use this in some streams, that
    works, I need a worken implementation of this encoder, this does
    not seem to work together with shoutcast or icecast

    %fdkaac(channels=2, samplerate=44100, bitrate=64,
    afterburner=false, aot="mpeg2_he_aac_v2", transmux="adts",
    sbr_mode=false)

    Maybe like

    out=output.shoutcast(%aac(bitrate=64, adts=true, channels=2,
samplerate=44100),
    url4, genre=shoutcastGenre, url=shoutcastURL, name=shoutcastTitle,
    host=shoutcastHost, user="User", password=shoutcastPassword,
    port=shoutcastPort)
