I made a 10-minute hack to the snapshot you sent me, just to show how icons can be further improved with little effort (I just changed the nine icons upper right). If you guys like them, I can do something more accurate in the 16x16 pgn format you suggested. http://www.biomolecules.eu/xxx/100228/hack.png While I were at it, I also took three snapshots to compare the characters used in the menus for Scid with the one used by Firefox and OpenOffice (same also in other softwares). As you can see, the ones of Firefox and OpenOffice are distinctively clearer and more modern. Is it possible to change the characters?
