I'd rather not start a war. But if possible could anyone explain what "scid vs pc" is. And why one might prefer it or reject it in comparison to scid.
It looked interesting so I compiled it. I have not really looked at it to closely. I was a little surprised that it took the scid executable name. I have no problem with having different versions of vi, or xemacs and emacs available on the same system. But it seemed odd that this program would not use a different name. Obviously I know how to fix that. I just thought it odd. Anyway, hopefully without opening the proverbial can of worms, can anyone tell me a little about the difference between these programs.
