Since you asked, I do not use it because I find its UI clumsy. Mostly, I use 
SCID for watching games on FICS, and I am likely to have open the board, the 
console, the scoresheet, maybe a database tree and/or an engine, maybe "best 
games" and I may view one of them in parallel.

I just fired up scidvspc for a quick decko, and in no time I had open six 
separate windows.

Bugs aside, I find SCID's UI easier to use.
