There has been a lot of complains recently on the mailing-list for the lack of development so you should be happy to know that there will be soon some new releases.
However this is a GPL community project, so if you're using scid (for free, should i remember this to all the haters?) and you like it, this is your chance to give something back! In particular: - if you are a chess fan, a scid user and a good english speaker it would be nice to add to sourceforge website a section with some updated tutorial video like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCjFQmaLTDo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_ZPltcSyjo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwdkJg9jrIo - if you are a designer or website builder scid website is in a urgent need for update - scid have some obscure but useful features that most of the users don't even know about: everyone who can spend time on writing documentations is very welcome. - if you are a good chess player it would be nice to add to sourceforge website a section for articles on how to use scid to study and improve your chess (if you have read "Secrets of Practical Chess" by John Nunn i'm thinking about the chapters he wrote on how to use chessbase) I hope this will not end by blowing in the wind, Fulvio ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites.
