I do recent the fact that you labeled my arguments as filibustering. Asascid and scidvspc userI have every right to comment or opine my point of view and contribute my "two cents" worth, especially if I believe in its logic. I have not engaged in any personal attackson any one member of this community. Neither have I said anything denigrating, obtuse, or otherwise considered malicious or divisive in nature. Per your definition of "poisonous", my comments/suggestions/opinions are not meant to distract from theimportant issues. Nor are they meant to emotionally drain the scid developing community. As for causing needless infighting, I doubt that my words have caused a serious rift between Steve, Fulvio, Alex, and others. So, amI filibusting? If defending my argument is called filibusting, so be it- I'm entitled to my opinion and have every right tocomment on otherpeople'sposts. I have never said over and over that "we need a merge!". Quite frankly, for as long as scidvspcis actively maintained I could care less about the merge. When Alex approached Steve to take over the scid project, and Steve agreed, I saw a great and obvious benefit to the scid project, its community, and the spirit of the original developer. My comments reflect an alignment with Steve in that his code base is superior and the best starting point to carry scid development in the future. I really do hope that Steve and Fulviosort all this out. So, please, unless you find offense to anything I post, stopthis "filibustering" nonsense. I will continue to post comments as I see fit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites. So do we.
