Hi! Just as a suggestion:
Would it be possible to "split" the scid package a bit? I think it is not sensible to package everything in the standard package all the time. E.g. the bases and books do not change, also the engines most likely not though the Phalanx and Crafty engines are that tightly coded into scid that one probably has to leave them, don't know. Probably one could include some fetching routine for db/books/photos... into the makefile? Some --getbase --getbooks --getphotos ... Just as the packages get quite big. It would IMHO be better to offer a "base pack", some "additional files" and probably one "big pack". Don't think that packaging that differently would be too difficult. I could create some script in case. -- Kind regards, Alexander Wagner Universitaetsbibliothek Ilmenau Langewiesener Str. 37 98693 Ilmenau Tel.: 03677/69-4521 , Fax.: 03677/69-4617 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
