As a human, I prefer something that works to something that is elegantly 
designed, but doesn't work. 

It looks to me like we are trying to find a General Solution to Chess Database 
instead of just doing something that is reasonably easy to implement and 
already works for Chess Assistant and ChessBase training databases.
