Hello,
I've just committed some changes in CVS.

In detail:

1) New way to add the engine analysis at the end of a game (Alexander
idea of few days ago)

I'd suggest to use the following way to annotate at the end
of the game

----------------------------------------------------------------------
      29. Red3
(this is actually the last move in the game)

    ( [Deep Shredder 11 UCI] 11:-2.19 29.Red3 Nb6 30.Bg2 Qc7... )
    ( [Deep Shredder 11 UCI] 11:-2.07 29.Red3 Qc7 30.Bh3 Nd6... )
    ( [Deep Shredder 11 UCI] 11:-1.28 29.Red3 e4 30.Rd4 Qc7 ... )
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That is, repeat the last move _within_ the analysis line.
This is actually the way I add my manual analysis right now.

2) Scanning of filter files (.sso) in command line.
It's now possible to launch scid as "scid mydb myfilter.sso" in order to
have mydb immediately open and filtered by myfilter file.
Please note that scid scans and applies the parameters in the order they
are read, so put the filter files after the db.
It's also possible to give more than one .sso file in the command line,
but, for the same reason, the files must have been saved with logical
operators "and" "or", otherwise the last filter overwrites the previous
ones.

3) Tuning of the startup communication between gui and engines. Issue
pointed out by Alexander about a month ago who found a strange behaviour
with Shredder engine. Analyzing the log files, I saw some extra calls to
"uci" and "setoption" commands.
I think to have fixed it, but I found that every engine has a slight
different behaviour. I tested the changes with some free engines (uci
and winboard) and with Rybka 2.3.2 and everything seems to work
perfectly, but if someone finds some problem please report it.

Bye.
