This worked of course. I already rebuilt it with proper
settings.

This "can it be" was a statement of a fact. They were all
gone ;)

I have them all in 8.4 but I do not have them in 8.5.

Nope it is using a bitmap font here but it uses the wrong
screen resolution. The same happens with mozilla while all
other apps show up corretly. I'll have to find the screw
that tells it "yes, it is really 125 dpi, and yes, you should
show it that way, please scale the font properly."
