Garth Corral gave the following procedure for installing on Mac OS:
- download the version you want to install, untar it, cd into the top-level
- do:
cp Makefile.conf.darwin Makefile.conf
./configure
make scid_app
Scid.app will be in the /dist folder under the top-level directory you untarred
the scid version into. You can copy this to the Applications folder and launch
it from there (or leave it where it is).
