Good ! 1. I personnaly like pmwiki. It's simple, fast, and may be enough for the little wiki we would like to build. I would certainly consider it, since all resides on flat files :
http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/PmWiki/FlatFileAdvantages Maybe flat files are the way to go if we want the site website to be run with this kind of tool. 2. I was a Wikimedia hater for a long time. But I learned to like it, since it is really powerful. Beware that its power comes with administrational burden. A really good argument is that it comes with a database. A database is cumbersome, nonetheless secure and portable. 3. My favorite is certainly MoinMoin, albeit Python is not to everyone's tastes. 4. All in all, if you like pmwiki, go for it ! If I remember correctly, it comes with a function to generate chess games. 5. If your site goes well enough, we could consider transfering it in SF's site. But that is if we'd like centralized documentation. Do we ? PS: Let's stop being lazy...
