Thanks for your hints, but on my system clearing the PerfectChessTrainer.ini file does not make any difference. And this sh... application gives no message what I have to do, it is crashing instead. With a look into the log file I see that it is missing any eclipse stuff. Obviously on my system this Eclipse stuff is not installed, and I don't like to install this monster. Thanks god that I did not buy this application. (By the way: even the homepage of this application <http://www.perfectchesstrainer.com/> has any serious problem with the menus. I have the impression that this is a product from a rookie, and not of further interest.)
