ARE YOU TEACHING HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE WITH ANY OF THESE PROGRAMS?

A federal research project is looking for high school science teachers who
are teaching one of the following programs:

ACTIVE PHYSICS
MODELLING PHYSICS
MINDS ON PHYSICS

CHEMISTRY IN THE COMMUNITY (CHEMCOMM)

BIOLOGY IN A COMMUNITY CONTEXT (BIOCOMM)
INSIGHTS IN BIOLOGY
BIOLOGY: A HUMAN APPROACH

EARTH SYSTEM SCIENCE IN THE COMMUNITY (EARTHCOMM)

The research is attempting to compare for each curriculum how the program
developer intended it to be implemented and how teachers actually implement
the programs. Teachers with different levels of experience with each
program are sought, including teachers who are seriously contemplating
adoption. Interviews and class visits would be required. A small stipend
is available, depending upon the level of involvement in the research. The
project will begin in January. If you are interested, please contact
