Primary Science Fairs are a great idea for the spring. If you are the school coordinator, doing a little people's fair later in the year may just save your sanity a few more years. It also gives the school coordinator an opportunity to "volunteer" a Primary Science Fair Coordinator. I would suggest keeping the competative aspects at a minimum. Do a huge "show and tell" if that works with your population. The focus should be to encourage a love of science--doing science.
