I. The updated 'leapp-data-almalinux' package is available.
It includes Scientific Linux specific data.

Prior to the 'Install leapp packages and migration data for AlmaLinux:' step,
you should:
1). Install 'elevate-testing' repository, run:
# curl -o /etc/yum.repos.d/elevate-testing.repo https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__repo.almalinux.org_elevate_testing_elevate-2Dtesting.repo&d=DwIFaQ&c=gRgGjJ3BkIsb5y6s49QqsA&r=gd8BzeSQcySVxr0gDWSEbN-P-pgDXkdyCtaMqdCgPPdW1cyL5RIpaIYrCn8C5x2A&m=hXsrYakpepVQQ-f38BU05UVhkJXppK94lI6WHxYo4RX7QKhm0Pn_5m1_EZrBzdfP&s=SluUnYqh6OkfsQxIM03xrxsu9KCgC-Xl_IB1baWhNP8&e=
2). Apply the workaround by running:
# rm -rf /usr/share/redhat-release /usr/share/doc/redhat-release
III. Follow the rest steps unchanged.

That's a bummer… I do have a few servers with services configured I that I
would have prefer to update.
I did it with centOS and work ok.
Likewise, I also had to remove extra el7 left over rpm package... but I was
mentioned on the how to I fallowed.

I was able to use LEAPP (leapp-upgrade) to Migrate from CentOS 7.9 to
AlmaLinux 8.9
but I am unable to do so with SL 7.9. Don't even know if it's possible...
Tried leapp preupgrade, solved the issues... leapp upgrade fails while
it complains that sl-release and sl-logos conflict with almalinux-logos
and almalinux-release.
My guess for now, it's not correctly detecting Scientific Linux's files.
Is there a way to do it ?
Any advice ?
