Hi,
I'm trying to replace Vista with Linux. Vista came prepackaged on my 2 n

machines.
I've installed the same Linux on two other machines (also prepackaged ala
Vista) with no problem. They're only a year old.
My Linux installer loads a few things then halts with message: "unable to
find any devices of the type needed for this installation type, and gives
me
a list to choose from.
What options are available from the list ?
(Giving this list might provide us into some inside in what is going one.-
My experience is that the list of drivers is useless; it includes
network drivers for old 3com, DEC(!!) network cards. If there's a
workable driver, Anaconda's probably found it.
Time to try the vendor's site. Look for RHEL driver disks for the
equivalent release.
