Please read the relevant RFC (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1855.html), this is something the where the community already made a commitment back in 1995 (two years after I started writing to new groups and mailing lists) and this is something that worked well since then. So I understood your point of view (and maybe the view of your colleagues), but this is not what is committed in the community for nearly to decades. Regards, Thomas
