It is not silly, it's just a guideline to produce better readable posts, so it help everyone participating in a thread to get the point and to provide a solution for the problem that someone have. It is also not a must, you can ignore it but the result will be that people willing to help but don't want to spent time jumping up and down in threads will simply don't read it and in the end don't provide a solution they might know. > [...] > I also note that blogs work top posting mode.
