One of my least-favorite websites (the one I have the displeasure of owning) is
in the process of nuking one of my favorite sites, despite my requests to the
contrary. A lot of people have already been hurt, feelings-wise, because the
nuking came in the form of some really nasty and uncivil remarks directed at
users. I've had to distance myself from the place I own (partially out of
disgust, partially out of fear that the owner of the other site might sue the
crap out of me). Stupid sh*t, all of it. I'm mostly in damage-control mode,
sending e-mail apologies to the offended parties I know personally.
