What I remember from past NIPS:
It is not a talk. The presentations are mostly during the poster session.
There are usually one or two rooms with presentations, each hosting ~3
presentations / groups.
It is basically you standing there with a laptop, a screen (often
additionally a projector) and
showing you stuff to people that walk by.
So it is kind of like a poster, only with a screen instead of a poster ;)
