I hadn't thought of that. I can see how it would be useful.
In that same vein, I wonder if it would be possible to have a
predefined style for superfluous whitespace at the end of a line.
Maybe something a little like STYLE_BRACEBAD to mark the whitespace.
Would it have to be a lexer specific style?
In Scintilla the selection color stops immediately after the
end of the line.
This is the right thing to do IMO ... at least for a source code
editor
widget.
I don't dislike the scintilla behavior. I was just hoping to be able
to expose it as an option for the user.
