I'm dual booting a 2000 and redhat 8.0, athlon 850, 256 ram, the vid card i a using is a (old agp)nvida 256 32mb ddr video card creative annihilator pro in 2000 every thing is going great, i can play homeworld a open gl game and ea sports NHL 2002 a direct x game just fine i have also played unreal and other just fine but in redhat 8.0 (i did a workstation install) tux racer is BAD i can't even control the thing the frame rate is so bad i checked the xconfig and noticed that is only recognized 4 meg and changed it to 32 (the driver is generic nvida 256) but still not much if any help, i can't find my exact model listed. is there some way i can improve this performance, anything that i should look at? thanks!
