bsd is yummy :) i started w/ free bsd 4.X i than moved to Open bsd 2.6 or 2.7 i can't quite remember. they have no iso to download you have to do an ftp install off the net. than i bought the 2.8?? cd to support the bsd team. and played with that for a while. than i moved to RH 7x
the bsd ports is killer. with ther was more of this in linux gentoo somthing close. openbsd is way cool and i like the secure by default type install. i wish there were some good linux distros like this. just built for server. (i hear it is hard to upgrade from 3.2 to 3.3 for example) i have played with the following stuff on and off the last 2 years mandrake 8,9, RH 7,8,9 trustix, gentoo, openbsd 3.2, knoppix, smoothwall, mandrake mnf I currentily (at work)run mandrake 9.0 no x, server type install web, mysql, php. openbsd3.2 minnimal server no x install nmap system. and my personal system is a rh8, dual boot 2000 at home i am running rh9 type web server, dual boot rh9-2000 bags "o" fun _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web!
