If Ive got a Cisco Device on a COM port, what command(s) do I need to issue to get to the Cisco command prompt? I thought I would just telnet /dev/<serial device name> and everything would be cool.
You will need something like minicom, which is equivalent to Window's 'hyperterminal' to talk to the serial port.
