I have added a not in the web interface to inform users of this.  The 
alternative is that we load up the first page of affiliates.  But 
depending on the configured size of this, this could take a while.  When 
the gate moves outside, there could be large numbers of participants in 
a project. (Note: I will be renaming the affiliates tab to participants 
also, to fit in with the OGB naming convention).

This has been done.
