I tried with the patch as it was in crew, plus the fixes to the test suite to work with /sbin/sh (both now in crew, and hg). I tried (simplisticly) to bring it back as a patch to 0.9.5 this morning, but it's currently failing the test. I suspect I missed one of the changes needed.
