Some people managed to get Scmbug running in Windows under Cygwin. Hence they can use the docbook-utils, xsltproc packages from Cygwin, and other packages needed, to run a VDD. But in any case, lets start with what you have, and see where it goes. > It would be a lot easier for me if I was able to E-mail you a zip of my > scmbug structure and then you would be able to use something like > winmerge to integrate it into the current working product (Most the new > stuff is in new files, but there are a couple of updates to add Test > Director as an option). Just sent me what you have and I'll manage to get it merged. Just let me know which Scmbug version you developed it against. > I'm happy to add in this extra "integration_get_bugs" interface, but I > would need to know exactly what you would like to have returned. Sure, lets start without it, and we'll make progress. I'll email you a private release as a Windows .zip file. And please keep monitoring: http://bugzilla.mkgnu.net/show_bug.cgi?id=895 ...to see what was merged-in so far. > I couldn't find any test suite via the web site, would you be able to > point me towards it (Or E-mail a copy to me?). You will need to download the Scmbug source code (not the Windows .zip release). You could either: - uncompress and run the testsuite under a UNIX system - or under Cygwin in Windows. To run the testsuite see: http://www.mkgnu.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/scmbug/cvsroot/system/doc/DEVELOPING?rev=1.2&view=auto You'll have to add a new directory in src/tests/product.test/config/testers/ with the "appropriate files" -- see the existing directory there. > Keeping up to date with the backend changes shouldn't be a huge problem. > (Time-scales may obviously vary based on workload etc) That's all-right. I mostly want to go to bed with the cozy feeling that if a bug is reported against Test Director, you'll be in touch to give me at least a preliminary opinion on what the problem might be, even if it takes a lot longer to fix. I have to ask again, though: is it possible that I could get a Test Director instance going in my lab ? I could be running the testsuite myself, and have the option of examining problems. _______________________________________________ scmbug-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.mkgnu.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/scmbug-users
