Sounds like an incomplete implementation of the new logging mechanism. I
see that "@[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is used in a few more places
in the source code, while it should have been extinct:

This release is broken. I released it without testing. Releasing it was
a bad decision.

It's an intermediate version of "the state of things" as the protocol is
extended to support web-reports. Your best bet is to try the stable
version 0.23.4 which works for a lot of people that use Bugzilla 3.x
