Here is the version of utils on RHEL5: $ fig2dev -V fig2dev Version 3.2 Patchlevel 4 $ docbook2dvi --version DocBook-utils version 0.6.14 (jw version 1.1) and on Fedora 10 and 13: $ fig2dev -V fig2dev Version 3.2 Patchlevel 5 $ docbook2dvi --version DocBook-utils version 0.6.14 (jw version 1.1) I thought *maybe* (just a guess) i had too old DTDs, so that is why I tried it on Fedora 10/13 since they have version up to 4.5.
