Kristis,

We want to rebuild the RPM because we want to test out the patches from
Yavor Nikolov in order to use scmbug with Bugzilla 3.6. Our policy is to
never deploy software on a server without using a package management
system, in this case RPM on RHEL5 server.

BTW, the building of the user manual also doesn't work on Mac OS 10.5.8
with the same errors. It would seem that building the user manual is a
difficult matter...

I would just run ./configure --without-doc and not worry about it, but
then that also excludes the manpages, which we would like to have with
the RPM. I could hack it to just skip the user manual build, but I'm
just baffled that the user manual is such a problem for us on several
"stock" systems like RHEL4/5,Fedora10/13,OS X, etc.?

Also, I think it would be useful to include BuildRequires in the SPEC
file, why is it commented out?
