Here also, we do use non-ASCII characters in our commit log message. FYI, we do not have problems with comments added by ScmBug in Bugzilla. BTW, can you tell us if utf8 parameter is on or off in your Bugzilla configuration ? We still have problems with email sent by ScmBug. Tip detailed in http://bugzilla.mkgnu.net/show_bug.cgi?id=580#c25 is not working anymore … As email is only temporary information, I did not investigate further. My config : · Debian squeeze · Subversion 1.6.9 · Bugzilla 3.6.1 · Scmbug 0.26.18 Reviewing the all configuration, I just saw in my subversion post-commit script the following line … export LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 … It is inserted before commit-email script from subversion and before scmbug_activity script. I even forgot it was there … That could be equivalent to http://bugzilla.mkgnu.net/show_bug.cgi?id=580#c20 I will check if it still impact the resulted comment, the one inserted into Bugzilla and let you know.
