we're currently trying to find out what exactly is going wrong. If it
turns out that my changes introduced an error that could've been
detected by a proper testcase, we should definitely add one (or more).
And if we don't find the cause of the spurious re-builds, we have
another problem. This would mean we're working with a framework that
even the experts don't understand anymore. ;)
