Nah, C whistle - play as if you were using a D whistle and the tune
were in G. Puts it into a more effective range, and F whistles are
exotic rarities anyway.

(Fitchet has only one T at the end).

How about this while we're on tunes you can play on a C whistle? I can't
remember where I found this: the earliest version of it I've seen is in
E minor but I prefer this later one. You could put this before "John
Stephen".

I just tried that one out; my fluffy lilac tortie cat Chloe loved it and
was rolling around over my feet in ecstasy.

Another C-whistle-friendly tune is Fitchet's "Coldside Jig" (in G minor).
