I think your list is fine. I've been focusing on old tunes lately, and I
do think those are important, however, so is new energy. Here are a few
newish Cape Breton tunes which are being played:
The Mortgage Burn (Gordon MacLean, in The Lighthouse Collection)
Johnny Muise's reel (Jerry Holland, in Jerry Holland's Collection)
Wake Up to Cape Breton (Brenda Stubbert, in Jerry Holland's 2nd Collection)
Rannie MacLellan (Brenda Stubbert, in Brenda Stubbert's Collection)
also some of Brenda's marches
Wesley Gillis Reel (Kinnon Beaton, in The Beaton Collection)
Joan Beaton's Reel (Kinnon Beaton, in The Beaton Collection)
Mr. Joe MacLean Hornpipe (Dave MacIsaac, in Jerry Holland's 2nd Collection)
Sheldon MacNeil's Reel (Raymond Ellis)
plus most of John Morris Rankin's compositions
There are probably a bunch more which I haven't clued in to yet. There are
also a lot of older ones which seem to be staying around as part of the
tradition.

PS I just noticed that Tom Anderson's "Pottinger's Reel" and Angus
Fitchet's "Glasgow Caledonian Strathspey & Reel Society" are in Jerry
Holland's 2nd Collection. I think someone mentioned those tunes, so I'll
check them out!
