I disagree with you, but that doesn't automatically mean you're wrong.
What a shame if you are, though. There's an ugly side of that
jingoistic claptrap which too often flares up into bigotry, racism, and
snobbery. You mentioned Burns; I suspect he'd abhor that reading of the
toast
