Did you celebrate? I had a very interesting one, playing at a traditional Burns Supper in Killiecrankie. A couple of pals and I were singing Burns songs and instrumental sets on stage, joined by Martin MacLeod (ex-Capercaillie), who also did a couple of solo spots.
There was also a piano accordionist who did a solo spot - I thought it was excruciating (continental show-off tunes, the Dam Busters March, etc all over-sweetened) although there's no doubt he was a skilled musician. Just not my cup of tea. It was a good evening.
