Hi Nigel, Did you know that Chris Stout wrote the tune Hamnataing to go with this tune by Phil Cunnigham but never recorded the tunes as a pair? It's in the same key and rhythm. You'll find it on the eponymous CD by Fiddlers Bid, but not in a set with the hut on Staffin Island. There is a recording of this combination on a CD by Kelso High School Celtic group. It's cleverly arranged by Harris Playfair the music teacher and leader. I think it's a great combination. I assume you are playing the Hut in its its original key of D major. Let me know if you need the music as Sibelius 6 file. Isn't Hut on Staffin Siland a great mandolin tune!
