At least two existing distros use Webmin, Caldera and Mandrake.
It's an easy to use tool (but then so is Linuxconfig).
But, there's much more to a distro than just easy configuration.
There's a product called NetMax (which some of you may have seen in
Borders), which provides distros for _very_ specific purposes.
They've got NetMax Firewall and NetMax Server products, the Server
product is quite interesting, providing as it does, a web-based
management interface similar to Webmin.
_If_ we were to look at developing a Distro, (and given the recent calls
for consolidation in Distros, I'd question the viability), then I'd
prefer to develop a "meta-distro", i.e. a collection of packages _and_
expertise in them.
Postfix, Exim, Qmail, PostgreSQL, Apache, mod_php etc, these would be
easier to maintain, and scripts could be developed to configure them
(I'd even go as far as to suggest a Webmin .wbm Plugin).
There's a pile of software out there, that comes with Distros, that's
largely unused, lets make it easier to install and configure _specific_
packages, particularly with a server side slant, but not exclusively.
