Ok, what i was trying to say earlier is:
I would like to make a distro just for the sheer fun?
of it. I think it would provide a very valuable
learning experience and would certainly let me get to
know my away around the the filesystem etc. The Bazaar
method (Lots of people contributing bits and pieces
and releasing early and often, rather than the m$
approach) would be suited to this as anybody reading
this is perfectly capable of using CVS, if not at
least FTP.
The kind of distro I think would be good is one not
necesserily one that is fancy to look at, easy to
install does everything at the click of the button but
one that can do what you want without too much hassle.
As far as a mini distro goes, this is less relevent as
generally distros such as tomsrbt run from a floppy
and have minimal of apps, however for a larger distro
it should ask the right questions and have the
functionality to configure server apps from the
installation.
I would also like to create a distro that can be
installed and completely administered remotely.
Thots?
