[scottish] NIS - failed client login

NIS master server on RH 6.0 running ypserv-1.3.6.91 (Also ypbind 3.3-20 & yp-tools-2.2-1). No slave servers. NIS client SUSE 7.1 Live CD.   Client correctly displays propagated users (list of users is nicely displayed at initial login screen).  The command ypcat passwd correctly displays the file.   However I am unable to login to the client using any of the IDs and passwords.   securenets is set for everyone to access (at present!)   Any ideas?   Peter
