There exists a groupware suite very similar in look and feel to outlook by the name of evolution, its currently in beta6 and is available from ximian, its free and has palm syncronisation facilities in it, as well as contact manager, extensive mail client, diary, todo lists and all the usual groupware stuff. I'm using it with good results at the moment, it can be a little unstable but this generally involves me having to shut down the front end client and restarting it again, mail isnt lost, just any non-expunged deleted/moved mail goes back to where it came from.
