yes. The ISDN box can be ?30? metres from your master socket (that they
replace the faceplate on) Any existing extension wiring works as before 
using your PRIMARY analogue number (normally the same one as you had before)

The ISDN box can be sited in server room and provides all 3 types of 
connector (analogue primary, analogue secondary, and 2x digital) all via
the one cat5 cable.

Although you need power for the box (plug in transformer supplied) this is
only for the ring tone and the 2nd analohue line.

in a power failure, the primary line has a different ring tone, and 2nd line
is dead. ISDN still works though - so prob not worth sticking it on your UPS.

... one final thing.
        The ISDN box clicks (internal relays?) when the analogue phones
        ring. Dunno if this influences your siting prefs.
