I have used the Aironet kit, which is not terribly cheap, it's
about mid-range.
The main trap for the unwary is to remember to tell the wireless
module to use adhoc mode if you didn't buy a base station -- base stations
being both expensive and unnecessary.
If you have any worries about security, don't trust the wireless
encryption very far. This may or may not be an issue for you.
