Hi, I have just acquired a PC with a FDD, NIC, blank HDD...but no CD-ROM. (BTW, It's a PII 350Mhz, 64 Mb Ram, no HDD....60 quid from Silicon Group in Edinburgh)
I also have a laptop running Win2K...but not linux. My question is, is there an easy way to install Linux (or any OS) on the PC from CD? Also, I can boot the PC using "Toms Boot Disk", but when plugging the ethernet cable into my hub, the "link" light doesn't come on. Any ideas why not? Thanks, Mark.
